new year

27th decemver 2006,
mojito's back left feet is unwell,
hopping with 3, its tearing me.
sweetheart and i rushed her to the vet,
painkillers given,
and x-ray this wesnesday.

without this incident,
its hard not to know how vital my bunny is to me.
like an anxious mom,
i went dashing blindly.

she's in love with the glucose painkiller.
but painkiller isnt in love with her,
cos' it isnt doing her well.

baby, be well.
cos' u're j's and e's sunshine.

30th december 2006
sweetheart's 24th birthday.
face it, we can never have good schedule.
down with dinner shift,
i waited for him at rosette.

went round searching for the dkny watch.
first to boutique, closed.
to wisma, close down.
to paragon, not in view.
finally, lucky plaza.
the last pair left,
cos' its the new collection and the shop only took in 1.

considering the design,
the branding,
the entire outlook,
s$300 is worth.

then to bakerzinn,
chocolate truffle cake.

waited at rosette,
damn that private party,
damn that function,
damn those rich-who-thinks-mighty assholes.

i helped everyone do some finish-up,
and it was 3am.

but still, i went to wish ed H.B. few minutes past 12mn.
mind still with work,
the response was not overwhlem.
but thats my bf,
work is work.
once he is in his vest and nametag,
he is SFT Edmund,
not jenn's silly.

we all had boozes,
we all had cake,
we all had laughter,
we all had a small celebration.
with mr heng around.

31st december 2006
my mood is awful,
mojito seems restless at my home.
maybe stressed had gotten into her,
maybe.

sweetheart is on dinner,
i'm going to zhen hong's for dinner,
then to herman's for firework.

and i brought mojito along.
she remained such a lovely throughout.
the bus ride to the east,
train ride,
and cab ride.

steamboat with pals,
but my heart was with mojito.
went to check her out a hamdful of time during dinner.

to herman's,
overseeing esplanade,
we all had the best view.
mojito was having fun with angel,
herman's maltese.

darling was at mohd sultan with jason,
met them at coffee bark at UE square.

looking for cute japanese bartenders,
head there.
pricey though, but worthwhile.

750ml bombay sapphire,
mixers,
old gin fizz to finish up.

man, i really can drink

reach ed's place at 5,
mac for early breakfast,
sleep for dawn.

and yes,
all these while,
mojito was around.

she withnessed firework,
she smelled alcopops,
she viewed bartendering,
she experience everything i did.

my baby girl.

and cos' every year seems the same.

studies,
car licence,
health,
family,
shopping,
monetary cases,
travels,
anything new?
