wrap

29th dec.
i went shopping around for his gift. no, it wasnt a last minute shopping, but because i had no idea what to get for him. i walked around and in the end, i stepped into mango and got myself a black skinnie and a corset top. after settling my own craves, i decided to redirect myself to why was i shopping. i walked back to tangs from wisma's mango.

the very moment i saw that tieclip, i knew it was the one. never mind about the price, i love the gift so much that i could keep it for myself. i tried snapping a pic, but it was too shiny for any shot. it doesnt make much sense to just have a tieclip, so i went over the to cufflinks collection and choose a matching pair. so the kick came when i was at the cashier, total bill was $198.

made my way up to island cafe with weihao and anthea. as per our routine, we gorge ourselves again and starved our pockets with the $85 bill. but hell, we had fun and that was allwe need.

alvin was having his well deserved buffet dinner at marriott cafe, and he came by to show us his botak look. and trying to show us how "fit" the goverment made him. still, i could use him to hang my clothes.

anthea, weihao and i walked to digest alitte with the crazy idea to dropby st regis. it was a 45mins walk, we laughed so much that weihao was on the verge of puking. settled for a while at tudor centre and walked back.

we parted and i went to holland v to meet the rest up for sweetlove's birthday countdown at tapas wine bistro. 6 of us in total, and we ate so much. soft shell crabs, roast garlic beet, wagyu beef, calamaries, bacon king prawns. none could compare to what we've drank. 1 red, 1 wine and 1 champagne. finished by 6 of us. then of cos the party did not end yet. hit bar b one, rounds of dancing and another bottle of martell.

got back at 7am, and work at 5pm to 2am for the countdown party at marriott. i'm too lazy to blog out, but i will blog them out.

new year's resolution. i think its pretty redundant to have one. even if u have one, ask urself, have u finished what u planned for 2007? i doubt. mine's always the same, graduate and enter the airlines. i dont know of any other plans yet cos i may want to take my degree with sim first. however, theres this very huge part of me that wants to fly first. and it has never changed.

come to think about it, i've gone through pretty much to make sure i built my foundation right before i bring myself to the airlines. i've heard so much complains about bad schedules, lousy duties and horrifying coworkers. although i cant entirely jugde them, but at least i'm able to picture myself.

in the end, there isnt a perfect job. i always push myself and stay positive. it may sound cheesy or simple, but it does help.
